The Biopanda Opiates (OPI) Saliva Rapid Test Cassette is a lateral flow immuno-chromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of morphine in saliva samples.
Opiate refers to any drug that is extracted or refined from natural plant matter (poppy sap and fibers), including the natural products, morphine and codeine, and semi-synthetic drugs such as heroin. Opioid is more general, referring to any drug that acts on the opioid receptor.
